Lot (contract size)
The unit a broker measures position size in.
Last updated: September 4, 2026
A full lot (1.00) is a fixed quantity that differs by instrument: a hundred ounces of gold, a thousand barrels of oil. Most accounts trade fractions of it - 0.01 or 0.10 - and every broker sets a minimum and a step. Lot size is what decides what each price move is worth to you, and it is the single decision that separates an account that survives from one that does not.

Everyone shows the profit once it has landed — here you see the decision before its result
Every position reaches you the second it opens: the size, the stop, the target. You see the decision at the moment it is taken, not a screenshot after it worked. You may leave whenever you wish.
