Pip Value Calculator
Before you can work out a profit or a loss, you need to know what a single move is worth in dollars at your size. This is the atom every other calculation is built from.
Press Calculate to see the result for this balance.
How it is worked out
Pip value = point size × the broker's contract size × number of lots. On gold: a full lot is 100 ounces, so a $0.01 move in price is $1 per full lot.
One thing to watch
Brokers do not agree on what a pip is. A common default is filled in for each instrument, but it is **editable**, because yours may differ. Check your broker's contract specification before relying on the figure.

Everyone shows the profit once it has landed — here you see the decision before its result
Every position reaches you the second it opens: the size, the stop, the target. You see the decision at the moment it is taken, not a screenshot after it worked. You may leave whenever you wish.
